Holy Hikes-Northeast Ohio is part of a nation-wide eco-ministry dedicated to rebuilding communion between all of God’s creation through liturgical hikes. On each hike, we pause at three different stations to celebrate the liturgy. The Eucharist will be included on many of these hikes.
We are honored to host the first Lutheran chapter in the US, and the first chapter in Ohio. Surrounded by an extensive system of beautiful MetroParks and the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, there will be no shortage of beautiful locations in which to remember and celebrate our fellowship with all of God’s creation! Hikes will take place on the last Saturday of each month, typically at 10 a.m., and will be 2-3 miles long. Follow this page or our Holy Hikes Facebook page for location announcements. All are welcome. If dogs are allowed on the trails we walk, they are welcome on our hikes, as well (please keep your dog on leash).
